Standing Up

We need books to have the opportunity of a good education.

Some people cannot afford to by book every year in high school. The alternate source is going to the public library and checkout a book. Every town, city and village should have a public library. It does not matter if there is a school there because there are grown up people that study to see how it can help them with their job or how to get a job. Some libraries have computers which some people cannot afford. The internet is a main way for people to stay connected to what is happening in the world.

Libraries have a job of being a support to the schools education.

If someone wanted a book and the school did not have a library. The library should have the books that you need to help in school. If they take away the option of borrowing books from a public library students knowledge will decrease in everything especially language, if they have books students can stay updated with what is going on in the world. They also can connect and learn about what job there are in the world, and what they need to accomplish to get there.

Library where imaginations run wild.

In a library you have the ability to imagine and see what you could never imagine. It gives people a boost imagination, there are so many different imaginary books that can help you. That are examples how you could create something out of your imagination. A lot of writers make there living by there imagination. Those I dears can provoke others imagination and help them make there lives as great as his.

Profile summary

I am profile I, which is simular to profile K which I was last year. I am Gestalt dominant, I function Visually and Auditory manner. When I am under stress I forget things that I should. I would be taking a test and that would happen. On nearly all my tests in math that has happened. I tend to be weak when writing, When I have to take a big picture and break it down to a small idea. I am not a organized person, Most of the time I don't follow instruction and rules.

I am right handed and right footed which makes the right side of my body dominant. I knew which arm and which leg I was dominant with. But what surprise me was that the right hemisphere of my brain is dominant over the left hemisphere of my brain. My left eye is dominant which makes it hard for me to read because my eye scans from right to left and that is the opposite way that the words are written in the English language. It also makes it harder for me to write. I am dominant in my left ear which means that I should sit where my ear is facing the front of the room. And would help me with all the details and information I need to know. I know where I should be sitting and what are my weaknesses, hopefully I can learn how to avoid running into them.

Andrew , a boring name, a plain name, nothing unusual, not even hard to spell or mispronounce. There is a power under my name Andrew is that it means ‘manly’ in Greek. I don’t know if I am manly or the meaning of manly which is strength and courage. Lobo means wolf in Spanish and people think that it is a cool name but I don’t think that it is that cool it is not an ordinary for sure .I would say that my name does not suite me because I am not a normal relaxed person I like to make people laugh,make noise, have fun. Another thing I don’t like about my name is that there are so many nicknames you can make out of it and my family know all of them. It is embarrassing when they say it in front of my friends. My sister was the one named me because my parents were just trying to please her cause she was excited about the baby. Why would my parents let her name me and why didn’t she name me something better.People around this school call me lobo because that is my last name I don’t mind being called that. But the eight grade teachers call me nick which I hate cause I am not like my brother. I know for a fact that my brother is nothing like me because he is not as kind as me but I am not the kind person. Do think I am a kind?

I chose the title because I went up to this board in the class and there were a lot of intriguing phrases but I had my attention on that one because of the picture next to it was interesting. On my blog we talk about what is happening and what we think about it. Also we have some sort of path when we go threw school. But sometimes you do not know where you are gonna end up because there are always choices to something. So my sum up of why I choice this saying is because it really appealed to me more than other phrases.

The end is near

In these paragraphs I am going to answer four questions and then tell by viewers why I said yes or no to the questions. Here are the questions that my teacher asked us to reflect on.

1. What piece of work and learning are you most proud? Explain.
The piece of work that I am most proud of is my second to last lit circle that was about the book tripods. The reason I chose this certain lit circle is because I think that this one shows how effort I can put into work. I also chose this one because I thought that the lit circle was good quality writing but also a good amount. I also think this tells you a lot about the book and characters and how they think. This also shows that I have improved on my weakest part of doing the lit circles which making questions. Another thing that I improved on was writing enough so that there is a lot of detail. I would also say that this part of the book was the most interesting because I was able to write a lot about it. I also connected well because a lot of the things he went through in the chapter I have gone through.
2. What were your greatest challenges? Explain.
I also think that one certain thing that was hard this year was that in humanities you had to be organized and that is one thing that I am not. I also think that I had to learn not to argue with people about things and instead just take one for the team. I also think that there had to be more focusing and less joking around in middle school. Another thing that was hard was transferring from fifth grade to sixth grade. The reason it was hard to transfer was because we had written a lot more in a paragraph compared to fifth grade. We also had to include a lot more structure and also had to make it organized so that it flows and not making it hard to understand.
3. Reflecting on your growth this year, what did you learn about yourself as a learner?

The thing that I have improved on the mostly is thinking of I dears to write for and it was not only thinking of I dears it is not always just think of I dears it has to be good I dears. I also have improved in extending my paragraphs because that was a hard thing to do when I first came into sixth grade. I also had a problem with the computers because they are a different type of computers than I had in my old school. I have grown this year in be coming more easy going with people than I was in my last school. I also have improved in becoming more open to talking in class and also becoming more involved in class and giving more effort. I think that I have also improved in my story making.

I chose satisfactory because I am not a model or a big trouble maker I am just in the middle even though I am not always the best student. I still talk sometimes when he is talking but not much and I get most of my work done now a days and do work in class. I also think that I am nice to my friends and people in my class but if they are mean to me I am not very nice to them and I need to work on that.

That I am quite loud in class that i joke around in class and that I like sports but not talking about them.

7. What was your favorite activity lesson in Humanities this year? What did you enjoy about it?

My favorite activity lesson in humanities this year was the treasure hunt because I like treasure hunts and it was also fun because is was something different for a change. I like the treasure hunt because I also had fun learning how to get around this school and I also learned how get along with certain people and I also have to become more open minded because people have different ways of doing things than me.

8. What activity do you wish we could have spent more time on?

I wish we could have spent more time on making the e mobile because they were a lot of fun and we were able to make stuff with our hands. Another reason I liked making the e mobile was because we got learn interesting things about different Empires and what made what they are. I also think that we had to think of a design and that way we did not have follow instructions of measurements because it is not easy to follow measurements. The reason that I chose this specific project was because I had fun doing a project with a boy instead of a girl. I personally think that boys are more easy going than girls and it was easier to work with a boy than a girl.

9. Finally, cast your minds back to the first few months of middle school (when you arrived in Grade 6 ) what "Words of Wisdom" or "Advice" could you pass on to the Class of 2018?

I think that should be ready for being organized and also being ready to write long paragraphs and also be ready to have problems with locks and locker combinations Forgetting P.E clothes.

Dear, family and citizens of Wherton
I am safe so don't worry about me because I am far away from home so there is no chance that you could come help me. I am writing to tell sorry for leaving so suddenly and I wish that I could have said good bye before leaving. I have taken on a very long journey and I wish you could be here with me but I cannot tell you where I am, If I were to tell you where I am it could risk my life and friends that I have come with to this place. I have two reasons why I left, the first one is because I say how Jack has changed after the capping and I do not want to end up like him. The second reason I ran away was because I met a man and he told me about this place with no tripods and if I went to a place where there was no tripods I would not need to be capped.


Now I am going to talk about my journey and which things I have faced and what things I have leaned about. Firstly I had to learn how to trust Henry because e could have left me alone with no food and I trusted him from then on. Another thing I have earned about is friendship me and Henry I have a strong friendship with a man that I have trust my live with. I have also seen a girl that I have fell in love with and I nearly risked being capped to stay with her. I also have fa by being picked up by a tripod and nearly being eaten by it and my hole journey would have been a waist. I also have faced pain when my friend had to cut a button out of my because the tripods put t on me and they were following me.

I also have Henry with me and he is safe so do not worry about him also he has no injuries and he has helped a lot on this journey. I have learned how smart the tripods and how people live with freedom and I also seen how evil the tripods. They are also very powerful and I know how powerful they are really and I have seen why they took over the world. I also have seen the world before the tripods took over the world and how smart the ancient were. I also have had to hid from them and I know how they work and what powers they have. I Have also learned about other society and how they work and I also have more of understanding about life and what it is worth. I also learned how society means different things to different things and what it is worth to other people.
